A new horse painting in my series of 30" x 40" oil on canvas paintings
When painting outside I always get to chat to plenty of interesting people about my work, its nice to get some first hand feedback, on this evening I was sitting outside an exhibition in Clifton, Bristol called 'Presence' where my work was on display alongside an exhibition of bronze sculpture.

Today a surprising and delightful email landed in my mailbox. Collectors of my paintings have sent me jpegs of my work hanging in their home - Virginia USA! Its always lovely to see my work hanging in situ. Usually when it leaves the gallery I have to kiss it goodbye, never to see it again.
The really nice thing about this email was because Mr & Mrs R are redecorating, they want more work. And being in Virginia, they are leaving it to me to select something for their home. Its a real honour to have someone trust your judgement in this manner. Thank you
